My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This charming domestic shorthair tuxedo girl is as sweet as her name suggests. Merriweather is a friendly, sweet girl. She gets along wonderfully with other cats, making her a great fit for multi-cat households. She prefers a dog-free home, though, dogs aren’t her favorite, and she’d be happiest in a calm, canine-free environment.
If you’re looking for a loving, easygoing kitty with classic tuxedo charm, Merriweather is ready to steal your heart. Come meet her or apply at ghhs.org

Additional adoption info

Adopters must be at least 19 years old.

If you rent, you must have permission from your landlord and pet fees must be paid in advance.

If adopting into a family, we require all members of the family to be in agreement about adopting. For families that already include another dog, we typically require a meet and greet; this may be hosted on the GHHS property, or at the potential adopter's home.

Some animals may require a home inspection.

Verification of current pet(s) vaccine/vet records.
