My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Little Elvis, a handsome young black cat with a confident and affectionate personality that will have you all shook up! This charming boy started as a backyard visitor but quickly stole our hearts. Now neutered and ready for his forever stage, Little Elvis is a true sweetheart. He'll happily strut over for pets and absolutely loves to be picked up and held, often melting into your arms.

One of his signature moves is spontaneously leaping onto your lap for a cuddle session! While he enjoys his independence, he's also happy to sit for a bit when you scoop him up. Little Elvis is a social cat who gets along well with other feline friends in the home. If you're looking for a confident, loving companion who will bring joy and maybe even a little rock and roll into your life, Little Elvis is ready to be yours.

Unfortunately, this sweet boy is FIV+, a feline immunodeficiency virus that is not contagious to humans or other animals, and poses no risk to other cats in a non-fighting household. With love and care, he can live a long and happy life!

Additional adoption info

Adopters must be at least 19 years old.

If you rent, you must have permission from your landlord and pet fees must be paid in advance.

If adopting into a family, we require all members of the family to be in agreement about adopting. For families that already include another dog, we typically require a meet and greet; this may be hosted on the GHHS property, or at the potential adopter's home.

Some animals may require a home inspection.

Verification of current pet(s) vaccine/vet records.
