Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Lilly – The Gentle Heart Who Just Needs a Little Time
Lilly is a 1-year-old, 33-lb heeler mix with a soft spirit and an even softer heart. She may be timid when you first meet her, but give this sweet girl a little time and patience, and you’ll see her blossom into the loving companion she truly is.
Once she warms up, Lilly shows her affectionate side—quiet, loyal, and eager to be near her people. She’s the kind of dog who notices the little things, appreciates calm voices, and takes comfort in gentle reassurance.
Lilly would thrive in a home that understands her need to go at her own pace. With kindness, consistency, and a safe place to land, this beautiful girl will reward you with trust, devotion, and the sweetest companionship.
If you’re looking for a tender soul with so much love to give, Lilly is ready to bloom in your care.
If interested, please call the shelter at 231-861-5395 and leave a message to be placed on this dog's adoption list. No obligation, but it reserves your place in line on the list. The shelter will contact individuals as they appear on the list.
The adoption fee is $95 and you receive certificates for $50 towards spay/neuter and $10 towards rabies vaccine if not already done. All dogs are heartworm tested, receive a DHLPP, flea and tick treatment, and are dewormed.
