My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Shadow!

This smart, inquisitive sweetheart is wrapped in the softest fur and topped off with that irresistible husky charm! She’s full of curiosity, playfulness, and love for life. Shadow adores spending time with both her dog pals and her human friends. She’s always ready to make a new best friend! And while we humans may be bracing ourselves for the colder months, Shadow is thrilled at the thought of snow! She’s dreaming of winter adventures with her future family. We aren't sure how she would do with cats, but she is friendly with dogs and children.

Shadow is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all her vaccines. All that’s missing is a loving home where she can grow, play, and share her big heart. If you’re looking for a fun-loving companion who’s ready to take on winter (and every season after) by your side, Shadow may just be the perfect match!

Additional adoption info

Matchmaking is what we love to do. We do our very best to find the best fit for the pets awaiting adoption at the Rhode Island SPCA. The first step to adopting a dog from the Rhode Island SPCA is filling out an adoption application. If your application is selected, you will be contacted and asked if you would like to schedule a meet & greet. Because of the volume of applications we receive, sometimes we can only respond to the selected applicant. You are always welcome to contact us anytime about the status of your application at adoption@rispca.com.
