Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Callie, a lively American Pit Bull Terrier mix who’s ready to bring fun, adventure, and plenty of personality into her new home. Mostly brown with a bright white chest, Callie came to us from animal control and has quickly shown us just how much zest for life she has. She is truly a ball of energy and would thrive with an active family who loves walks, playtime, and outdoor adventures.
Callie has a very unique way of expressing herself—she doesn’t bark like a typical dog. Instead, she lets out a hilarious, seal-like “song of her people” when she’s excited or wants attention. It’s unlike anything you’ve heard before, and we’ll be sure to get a little video to show off her signature sound!
Due to her high energy and tendency to get excited and possibly knock over small children, Callie would do best in a home with older kids. She is dog selective, so slow, proper introductions are important, and she is not good with cats.
If you’re looking for a fun, expressive, unforgettable companion who will keep you smiling, Callie might be your girl.
