Champ Ian is a 14-pound, Pomeranian mix with a heart as soft as his fluffy coat. At just two years old, he has already overcome more than most dogs will face in a lifetime, yet he remains one of the gentlest, sweetest, and quietest souls you’ll ever meet. His personality is so calm and tender that it’s hard to believe he’s still such a young dog.
This brave little guy was shot in his back left leg, but true to his name, he has faced his recovery like a champion. A surgical pin was placed to stabilize the leg, and he is scheduled for a very important vet visit on Black Friday. At that appointment, the vet will determine whether his leg is healed enough to remove the pin and continue recovery or whether an amputation will give him the best quality of life. Champ Ian handles everything with quiet courage, gentleness, and trust.
Despite all he’s been through, Champ Ian is nothing but love. He is calm, affectionate, and deeply appreciative of every bit of kindness he receives. Whether he keeps all four legs or not, he is ready for a fresh start with someone who will treat him with the tenderness he has always deserved.
Champ Ian would be a wonderful companion for someone who values a peaceful, loving presence by their side. He doesn’t ask for much - just safety, compassion, and a soft place to rest his little head.
If you’re looking for a gentle-hearted survivor who will reward your love with unwavering loyalty, Champ Ian is ready for his second chance.
