Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tiana was brought to PAWS from an Animal Control Facility. She had been owner surrendered and was reported to be "biting everyone who tried to touch her". She was SO scared when she got here and the only way she could "defend" herself was to try to bite. But with some patience and kindness, she crawled into my lap on Day 3 and we have been best buddies every sense. She is a beautiful little girl with a big heart. She does need someone with lots of patience to give her the space she needs to get to know and love you. She is 8 lbs of spunk, love and curiosity!!! Because of her history, she will not be adopted to a home with any children under the age of 18. She will need a quiet home without alot of new folks coming and going. And she will require a fenced yard. She is not housetrained but has done well on pee pads since being here. If you are interested in adopting her, you will need to go to pawspaws.org to complete the PAWS application. Please note - the Inquiry on this site IS NOT the PAWS application. You are welcome to do that but you can't be considered for adoption until you complete and send the PAWS application. Her adoption fee is $350. She is spayed, microchipped, heartworm tested and is positive and treatment is underway, is up to date on vaccines and just had her dental.

Additional adoption info
Dogs: The adoption fees for PAWS puppies and dogs start at $200. Occasionally, the adoption fee will be higher and, if that is the case, it will be noted on the animal's profile. When you adopt your new dog or puppy, it will be spayed or neutered, wormed, micro-chipped, and up to date on routine shots. If it is six months or older, it will have been tested for heartworms and placed on a heartworm preventative.
Cats: The adoption fee for most PAWS kittens and cats is $75. When you adopt your new cat or kitten, it will be spayed or neutered, wormed, micro-chipped, and up to date on its shots, with the exception of its rabies shot, which must be given by a vet. IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO ADOPT A CAT OR KITTEN, BE SURE TO BRING A CARRIER OR PET TAXI WITH YOU. WE CANNOT SEND A CAT/KITTEN HOME UNLESS IT IS IN A CARRIER/PET TAXI.
We certainly recommend that you continue your pet's routine vaccination regimen with your veterinarian.
SAME DAY ADOPTIONS ARE NOT ALWAYS POSSIBLE, SO IF YOU ARE DRIVING FROM A DISTANCE, PLEASE MAKE ADVANCE ARRANGEMENTS.
IF YOU RENT, YOU MUST BRING A SIGNED RENTAL AGREEMENT FROM YOUR LANDLORD STATING THAT IT IS OKAY FOR YOU TO HAVE AN ANIMAL IN THE HOUSE. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A RENTAL AGREEMENT, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO TAKE THE COMPANION ANIMAL OF YOUR CHOICE HOME WITH YOU.
OUT OF STATE ADOPTERS ARE ASKED TO PAY THE ADOPTION FEE IN CASH.
PAWS IS NOW EQUIPPED TO TAKE CREDIT CARDS.
If you are interested in adopting, please e-mail Kareel at pawsplace1@yahoo.com, and she will get back to you as soon as possible. If you live in the area, please come see us!! If not, please keep us in your thoughts. We need monetary donations badly in order to keep this wonderful operation going, so, if you are able, please send whatever you can. At the present time, PAWS Place is full of kitty grins and doggy smiles. Please help us keep it that way!!
