My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Taps is a shy but incredibly sweet pup whos just beginning to rediscover the world. When you first meet him, he might retreat to the back of his kennel or bark, but not out of aggression but because life has simply overwhelmed him. But heres the beautiful part: with every gentle moment, patient walk, or doggy companion by his side, Taps begins to soften. He visibly relaxes when near other dogs, especially his more confident sister, Tipps. In fact, being around other calm, friendly pups brings out a tail wag and curiosity you might not expect from such a quiet boy.

Once in the play yard, Taps tries to find cozy corners or quiet space to hide, but he blossoms when another dog walks by - his tail lifts, he moves more freely, and he even seeks gentle affection. Hes been making consistent progress thanks to the efforts of our staff and volunteers, and he now accepts treats from your hand, enjoys soft pets, and will even hop on a bench beside someone he trusts. He loves kiddie pools and moments of peace.

Taps would thrive in a calm home with another confident dog to guide him, a quiet routine, and a person who understands the power of patience. If youre looking to change a life and be deeply loved in return dont wait. Come meet Taps today and help him write his next chapter.
