My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How this pet arrived:
Link was brought in by their previous owner on 10/14/2025.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Link is a handsome, adventurous Husky looking for a loving and active home! True to his breed, he has plenty of energy and loves to explore-he would happily walk all day if you let him. Link is curious, intelligent, and gets bored easily, so he thrives in a home that can keep his mind and body engaged. Because he's a clever escape artist, Link will need secure fencing and supervision during outdoor time. Link may also need a little extra support to feel secure in new situations. He would do best in a home where his anxiety can be gently managed and where someone is home often to provide reassurance. With patience, consistency, and a calm environment, Link can grow more confident and form a strong bond with his family. He's ready to thrive in a loving home that understands his needs!

At SDHS:
Link has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. Link is now ready for his new home!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
