My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Splotch
Black and white female
Splotch is a spirited and very vocal girl with a big personality and an even bigger future size. She has been the largest of her litter from day one and loves all the attention. If you want a cat who talks to you, greets you with trills, and purrs loud enough to fill a room, she is your girl.
She has a great appetite, plays with anything she can chase or carry, and thinks teaser toys are the height of entertainment. Her preferred perch is your shoulder, even while you are walking, because she loves to climb and stay close.
Splotch gets along wonderfully with her foster family's 75 pound dog and starts purring the second she sees her buddy. With time and maturity, she is likely to become an excellent lap cat, but right now she is a lively and lovable little character who would thrive in an active, attentive home.
Come meet Splotch and let her tell you loudly why she is the one!

More about this rescue

The Fayette County Humane Society (FCHS), staffed entirely by volunteers, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supported entirely by individual and corporate donations. Because we do not have a shelter, all of the animals we rescue live in temporary foster homes until they are adopted. We believe that all companion pets have intrinsic value and should be treated with the reverence and care they deserve.
