This helps ALL 4 ANIMALS RESCUE INC with pet care costs.
Ivy is an adorable and sweet miniature black poodle who loves to wiggle and run and wiggle and run. This girl is full of energy. She is interested in playing with other dogs and would likely do well having a playmate to help her get out the wiggles. She would need to meet any potential doggie siblings, but she is super friendly and does not aggressive bark at any of the other dogs in the shelter. She is curious about her environment and likes to explore. She will sit on your lap for some pets, but then she is off to explore something new. So if you are looking for a straight up lap dog, this would not be a good fit. Ivy is going to need lots of playtime. She does want to be where you are or where other people are and will sneak through openings in fences if she can. She will do well in a fenced in yard (but make sure there aren't any gaps that she can wiggle through). This breed will require grooming. She was not a fan of her first grooming session with us, so we recommend introducing her slowly to a groomer and giving her time to adapt to a new environment.
