My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Amber was surrendered to us with her siblings, Chloe the dog and Sylvester the cat. She is a nervous lady, but is learning to be comfortable with the leash and new people. She prefers to explore the world cautiously, and likes a good sniff-spection. She is learning to trust her people here at the shelter, but what she needs most is the stability of a patient, loving home, where she can start to re-learn about the world-- and maybe realize it’s not so scary. She’s shown great dog-sociability at the shelter, and would likely benefit from a dog sibling to mentor her in her new home– our behavior team would be happy to help you with a dog meet-and-greet.
