My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My foster writes: Who's a love bug beyond belief? A kitty who can't wait to be your new best buddy? It's the unique and uber affectionate girl cat with a guy's name. It's Sebastian! You want a big-hearted and generous friend who has your back, your lap, and your side as you sleep? Sebastian is the gal who will check all those boxes with quiet dedication. What she doesn't express with meows, Sebastian makes up for with head buts, leg brushes, and a very hearty purr. Her eternal thirst for petting and chin scratching is like a brunch with bottomless mimosas. Sebastian will get you drunk on lovin' and cuddles, that's for sure. But instead of getting up with a hangover, you'll wake to her standing by your side patiently waiting for chest rubs, and a new day full of furry and forever, thoroughly attentive devotion.

What my friends at ACC say about me:

Sebastian was on top of the den in a loaf position, looking down and not making eye contact with the assessor. His pupils were somewhat dilated, and he did not sniff treats when offered. He allowed some petting with a scratching tool and then allowed petting on his head and cheeks with the assessor's hand while remaining in place. He did not appear to warm up, but he also did not escalate.

Sebastian interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. We recommend that he go to a home with some cat experience preferred and be well counseled in new home adjustment concerns.
