My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB 05-29-25

Sir Sparrow is the definition of a Velcro-kitty! This sweet boy LOVES to be held and cradled, resting his head on your shoulder like it’s his favorite spot in the world. If you prefer, he’ll even climb up onto your shoulder himself! As soon as he realizes he’s being scooped up for cuddles, he tucks his back legs and tail in and reaches out to you—it's absolutely adorable.

Sparrow and his buddy Minnow are both incredibly affectionate and people-loving. They would thrive in a home looking for cuddly, playful companions who enjoy being close and showered with love. If you have plenty of attention to give, these two will happily soak up every bit of it!

Adoption Fees:
• $100 for adults (12+ months)
• $125 for kittens (under 12 months)

All cats adopted through Silverton Cat Rescue come spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, microchipped, treated for fleas and worms, and have received age-appropriate vaccines.

We are not first-come, first-served. Our priority is finding the purrfect match for each kitty and each family.

Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit and an all-volunteer organization. All of our kitties live in foster homes. Please be patient as we connect you with their foster to arrange a meet-and-greet.

Why Most of Our Kittens Are Adopted in Pairs

Kittens are incredibly social and develop best with a feline companion. A bonded buddy helps them learn healthy play, build confidence, and reduces stress and loneliness. Cat experts strongly recommend adopting two kittens together, or adopting a single kitten only if there is already a young, playful cat in the home.

It may sound surprising, but two kittens are often half the work of one—they keep each other entertained, comforted, and well-socialized, making life easier for both you and them.
