My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB 05-29-25

Minnow is a true social butterfly! This outgoing little guy loves to play, explore, and then drift off to sleep while being held or snuggled up with his brother, Sir Sparrow.

He’s also a speedy runner and absolutely adores sprinting on the cat wheel—it's one of his favorite activities! Minnow has plenty of kitten energy and would thrive in a home where he has room to run, play, and show off his zoomies.

If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate, and lively companion, Minnow is ready to bring all of his joy straight into your home!

Adoption Fees:
• $100 for adults (12+ months)
• $125 for kittens (under 12 months)

All cats adopted through Silverton Cat Rescue come spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, microchipped, treated for fleas and worms, and have received age-appropriate vaccines.

We are not first-come, first-served. Our goal is always to match each kitty with the purrfect home.

Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, run entirely by volunteers. All of our kitties live in foster homes, so please be patient as we connect you with their foster to arrange a meet-and-greet.

Why Most of Our Kittens Are Adopted in Pairs

Kittens are incredibly social and develop best when they have a feline friend. A companion helps them learn healthy play, build confidence, and feel secure. Cat experts recommend adopting two kittens together, or adopting a single kitten only if there is already a young, playful cat in the home.

Believe it or not, two kittens are often half the work of one—they keep each other entertained, comforted, and better adjusted, which makes life easier for everyone.

Adoption Requirements

To ensure our cats go to safe and compatible homes, we require:
