LOUIE
Louie and his sisters were spotted running in and out of traffic on a rural Texas road, confused and dodging vehicles with no idea how close they were to tragedy. People drove past them. No one stopped until their foster slammed on her brakes, jumped out, and gathered them up. It was chaotic, filthy, and heartbreaking. These pups were abandoned with no food, no shelter, and no chance without intervention.
Louie came out of that nightmare with a huge personality and a heart that wants to love hard and play even harder. He is all boy in the best possible way. This kid has energy, confidence, curiosity, and thinks wrestling is a competitive sport. But the second he’s done zooming around, he will climb into your lap with this sweet heavy sigh like he belongs there.
He is crate trained, sleeps quietly through the night, and is becoming more comfortable on a leash every day thanks to his foster’s dedication. He’s smart and eager, and he responds beautifully to structure and routine. Puppy training isn’t optional for him or any puppy, but he’s genuinely set up for success.
At roughly 35 pounds and five months old, Louie will thrive in a home that appreciates a fun, lively, goofy, high-affection dog. If you like a puppy with personality, he’s your guy.
This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is neutered. (Please note: Puppies under 3 months old may not be sterilized prior to adoption. If this is the case, your adoption coordinator will provide guidance on the process.)
