My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Beefcake — a big red looker with a heart to match. This happy, social boy is all about people but also loves exploring the world, hanging out wherever the action is, and soaking up every bit of attention he can get.

Beefcake sometimes doesn't know his size when he’s excited, but he’s a sweet, affectionate boy who aims to please especially if treats are involved. With a loving home and some gentle guidance, he’ll make a loyal, joyful companion.

If you’re looking for a goofy, big-hearted, fun-loving sidekick, our Beefy is your guy!

More about this rescue

Founded in 1990, Nuzzles and Co (formerly Friends of Animals Utah) was just a small group of animal lovers lobbying for a new shelter facility. Today, we are a full-fledged animal rescue and rehabilitation organization with an adoption center, dedicated staff and board of trustees, and a 15,000 sq. ft. facility that includes a full veterinary suite, indoor and outdoor training spaces, miles of hiking trails, and a community cat room with an attached "catio."
