My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Chi-Chi, and I’m a feisty little tortie kitten with a big personality and a heart full of love. I may be small, but I’m curious, playful, and always ready to explore the world around me, or chase a toy that catches my eye!

I can be a little shy at first, but once I feel safe, I’m affectionate, sweet, and love snuggling with the humans I trust. I enjoy quiet moments, cozy naps, and gentle pets, but I also have bursts of energy where I love to play, pounce, and show off my silly, spunky side.

I’m looking for a patient, loving family who will let me grow at my own pace and appreciate my playful, loving nature. If you’re ready for a clever, affectionate little tortie to bring fun and love into your home, I’d be thrilled to meet you! Adopt me today!

More about this shelter

The Oahu SPCA was founded in April of 2009 and launched its mission, "Every healthy, treatable animal will find a forever home." The overwhelming support of community members was instrumental in helping to establish the first animal shelter in the state of Hawaii with a "no-kill philosophy." On July 18, 2009, 432 animals were relinquished to the Oahu SPCA the Largest Animal Rescue in the history of Hawaii. The Oahu SPCA rescued all 432 animals in 48 hours after the owner of an animal sanctuary in Waianae passes away.
