My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MY ADOPTION FEE WILL BE WAIVED 12/08-12/14!

Say hello to Travis! This handsome 7 year old pittie may be a tripod, but that doesn`t stop him from living his life to the fullest! From sniffy walks outside, playing with toys in the yard, and snuggle sessions on the couch, Travis navigates the world like a pro!
Travis is worried and sweet, and would do best with adopters that live in a quieter home, so that he can adjust and build confidence at his own pace. Come on down to the shelter to chat with us about Travis and see if he`s a good fit for your family!

More about this shelter

Northeast Animal Shelter, established in 1976, is now part of the MSPCA-Angell, giving us a better opportunity to serve our community, provide additional life-saving programs and services, and protect more animals from cruelty and neglect.

Our adoption program is designed to be welcoming, nonjudgmental, and free of lengthy applications. We strive to engage all prospective adopters in a conversation aimed at matching an adopter’s lifestyle, interests and home environment with an animal’s personality, medical and behavioral needs. Adopting an animal is an extraordinary opportunity to choose your newest family member. At the MSPCA it is a great privilege for our staff and volunteers to guide that journey for adopters and animals.
