My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bruno – Your Gentle Giant Companion!

Bruno is truly one of the sweetest, gentlest big dogs you’ll ever meet. He loves to be near his people, happily following you around the house, but he’s just as content entertaining himself with his toys. This big-hearted boy would likely enjoy having a doggy sibling to romp and play with, but he’d also thrive as the only pet in a loving home.

Bruno appears to be housebroken and is fully crate trained. He has been good with kids, and other dogs. He has a naturally calm, kind temperament and only joins in with a bark when his foster sibling does—otherwise he’s a quiet, easygoing companion.

Whether you’re looking for a family-friendly dog or a loyal buddy for a single-owner home, Bruno is ready to fit right in. He’s playful, affectionate, and oh-so-sweet. Whoever adopts him is truly getting a gem!

Additional adoption info

Adoption Process
We have an open adoption policy, so there is no application or interview process. We simply ask that you meet the pet in person before adoption. We have adoption specialists that will help you find the right pet for your family.

Adoption Center
The Adoption Center is located at 7500 N. Western Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73116. Our Adoption Center is a totally new concept in Oklahoma City where dogs have comfortable, expanded kennels and cats stay in “living rooms” with furniture and toys.

Pets by Appointment
Some amazing dogs get stressed out in a kennel environment like our Adoption Center, and much prefer staying at their foster home until they find their new family. If you see a dog on our website that says “E-Mail to Meet Me” that means that this furry friend is just a click away from getting a ride to the Adoption Center to meet you in person.

Adoption Fees
Adult dogs are $150 to adopt, puppies are $200 to adopt, adult cats are $75 to adopt and kittens are $95 to adopt. All of our pets are microchipped, spayed or neutered, treated with all age-appropriate vaccinations and flea, tick, and heartworm preventative prior to being cleared for adoption, so we put a lot of effort and monetary investment into each of our animals including a two-week quarantine period in a foster home. These adoption fees help cover the costs of our animals’ health and well-being!
