My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I’m Harold, and I’m a happy, high-energy puppy who loves life, toys, and—most of all—my human! I’m always ready to play, explore, or snuggle up for a good nap when I get tired. I’m still learning all the puppy basics, but I listen really well when I’m told “no,” and I’m already getting the hang of what’s okay to chew and what isn’t.

I adore human attention and love to be close to you. I might nibble on your hands sometimes (I’m teething, after all!), but I make up for it with lots of sweet puppy kisses. I haven’t met other dogs, cats, or kids yet, but I’m curious and open to new friends.

I’m working on crate training and house training, and I learn fast—especially when I get praise. I adjust quickly when left alone and settle in pretty well once I know I’m safe.

If you’re looking for a loyal, loving puppy who’s full of fun and ready to grow with you, I can’t wait to meet you!

My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?

If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org.

Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, you’re welcome to walk in anytime between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Please note that we’re closed for adoptions on Sundays and Mondays

More about this shelter

Pawmetto Lifeline, formerly Project Pet, was founded in 1999. Since the opening of our adoption, medical, and boarding facility in Spring 2012, we have been able to save more than 15,000 companion pets from euthanasia and gave them a new lease on life. We continue to strive toward the goal of a no-kill community and state through adoption, pet retention, rescue partnerships, and medical services.
