My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ophelia is a sweet and gentle girl who starts out a bit shy, but with patience and kindness, she warms up beautifully. She takes her time getting to know new people, yet once she feels comfortable, she leans in for affection and enjoys slow, soothing pets. Neck scratches and quiet moments are her favorite ways to connect. Ophelia does well with calm, respectful animals and thrives in a peaceful home where she can adjust at her own pace. She is ready for someone who will give her the space to blossom and the love to help her feel secure. Ophelia is a tender, loyal companion just waiting for the right family to bring her home.
She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on all vaccines, for more info please go to our website www.friendsoffelinesrescue.com

More about this rescue

Founded in 2020, Friends of Felines Rescue initially began in Rio Linda and now proudly serves both Rio Linda and its surrounding areas. Our mission is simple: to tackle cat overpopulation while supporting local communities. We're all about nurturing and protecting our furry friends by providing loving foster homes for orphaned, sick, and injured cats until they're healthy and ready for their forever homes. We're big advocates for spaying and neutering, not just for our beloved pets but also for our community cat colonies. As a volunteer-driven nonprofit, we're dedicated to the art of Trap-Neuter-Return, lending a helping paw by providing free training on trapping, traps for those in need, and information on low-cost surgeries. We rescue kittens and friendly strays, prepping them for loving families. Our aim? Spreading love and care for our cat friends!
