Penelope and her sister were born under a storage shed in the back yard of a TNR volunteer with FHS.
Thanks to the family dog alerting someone that the puppies were there, they were found at about 2-3 weeks old and able to socialize them. They have been with other dogs and also around cats.
Penelope is the outing going of the two puppies. She LOVES play time outside and being with the big dogs. She also LOVES toys and some quite time with her human. Penelope would do good with an active family.

Once approved and you agree the pet is right for you, sign the contract, pay the adoption fee and take your new family member home!

The Fayette County Humane Society (FCHS), staffed entirely by volunteers, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supported entirely by individual and corporate donations. Because we do not have a shelter, all of the animals we rescue live in temporary foster homes until they are adopted.
