My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ruby – A Gem of a Dog with a Heart of Gold 💎❤️🐾

They say diamonds are forever, but Ruby is the real treasure. 💫

This resilient beauty has been through a lot – her first human was a kind man who loved her deeply, even through life on the streets. After he passed away, Ruby found herself without a home again… but she never lost her sparkle.

Now she’s ready to shine in her forever home – and let us tell you, she’s a total sweetheart! Ruby is loyal, loving, and absolutely adores people. Whether you’re a solo adventurer or a busy family, she’s ready to fit right into your life (and probably your lap).

Ruby’s not just a pretty face – she’s got energy and enthusiasm to match! She thrives with daily walks, backyard zoomies, and playtime. A little structure and a lot of love go a long way with this girl.

Looking for a loyal companion who’s already proven her heart is unbreakable? Ruby is your girl. Let her brighten your days and snuggle your nights. 💕

Adopt Ruby – because every gem deserves to be treasured.AARF Houston transports to approved adopters outside of Texas.
