Meet Edna. This gorgeous gray and white tabby is a five month old spayed female who has already mastered the art of stealing hearts. She is incredibly friendly and has done wonderful with both dogs and cats. Edna has very little fear which makes her a bold and curious little explorer who wants to check out everything around her.
You may notice she has a slight sway in her back end when she walks. We suspect she may have had a bit of pressure on her back end while she was growing, but it has never slowed her down one bit. She runs, jumps, plays, and moves completely normally and we do not expect it to cause her any long term issues. In Edna’s mind she is absolutely perfect and we agree.
If you are looking for a sweet and confident kitten who will bring joy, adventure, and plenty of cuddles to your home, Edna is your girl.

More about this rescue
The Humane Society of Eastern Carolina's mission is to serve as a safe haven for homeless and neglected pets and act as a resource to the community. By educating the public about issues pertaining to animals, we feel that we can work towards the elimination of over breeding of dogs and cats and teach owners to be responsible pet owners. At the same time, we hope to facilitate adoption of pets to good homes so that we can allow more unwanted animals to find a temporary home with us.
