My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Eagle!
Eagle is a gentle 4-year-old Schnauzer who weighs 25 pounds and has already stolen every heart he’s met. He and his brothers were found dumped, painfully matted, and absolutely terrified — but this brave boy is finally learning what safety feels like.

After some TLC, Eagle is starting to come out of his shell. He’s a quiet little chap right now, soaking in the softness of clean blankets, kind voices, and a life without fear. Every day he takes one more step toward trust, and it’s beautiful to watch.

Eagle is the kind of dog who will blossom with patience, gentleness, and love. He’s already showing us how grateful and sweet he truly is, and we know there’s a silly, joyful side waiting to shine through.

If you’re looking to give a deserving pup his second chance — and enjoy the magic of seeing him bloom — Eagle is your guy. 🌟🖤

*Stay tuned tomorrow for his after grooming pics!

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
