Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Harvest is a pretty young pup who is a day trip and pawjama party favorite here at PACC- she heads out to explore the city with new friends regularly and has gotten some pretty rave reviews:
“Harvest was polite and easy to handle. She is a quiet girl and had appropriate (kind, excited, friendly) reactions to distant dogs of all sizes. It is evident that she loves the outdoors and loves the sniff-ari style walk. She sat and laid with me at the park and was excited to see passing children. Harvest is a treat-motivated MUST SEE sweetie.”
“Harvest is the sweetest, most cuddly girl ever! She’ll crawl right up on your lap and just needs a little bit of time to warm up.”
“My daughter (13) and Harvest got along great. She is gentle with hands when playing or taking treats. Loves chilling on the couch and being with someone. Enjoys chest pets most. On the first day she loved the car ride. Once home she decompressed and slept. She laid her head on my daughter`s lap in the car and fell asleep on my lap that night. The next day she played in the yard. She did not bark at my neighbor`s dogs. She was comfortable walking next to my daughter`s wheelchair inside the house. Easily follows directions like `up` to get on the couch or bed. Also knows sit and lay down. She played with toys and enjoyed treats, taking them gently from my hand. On the last night she flipped on her back for belly rubs. She`s starting to open up and get comfortable. This morning when I woke my daughter up, Harvest jumped on the bed and licked her face. She gives soft kisses. She is a very lovable, smart dog. She needs some leash training, which should be easy for her. Harvest has a laid back personality with the ability to turn up the fun whenever someone is up for playing. Best of both worlds!”
“Harvest is very pretty and sociable. She slept on a blanket in my room. She did well on the car ride away from the shelter.”
“Harvest warmed up pretty quickly. She ate and enjoyed quite a bit of treats. She loved walking around the park and exploring. She really liked rolling around in the grass. Very, very sweet girl. I had a lot of fun and I hope she did too.”
Harvest has been social and high energy when meeting other dogs in playgroup. She’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. Ask to meet Harvest today!!
