Welcome Sophie Laurent to BHNW!
Sophie Laurent is a 5-year-old, 30 pound, brindle French Bulldog and the sweetest little lady you could ever hope to meet. She loves spending time outdoors, whether she's chasing squirrels or playing fetch with her stuffed animals-just don't expect her to fetch a ball; she has standards.
Sophie enjoys her meals at her own pace and happily snacks on both her dog food and any fruits or veggies you share. When she's not exploring the yard, she's glued to your side. On the couch, in bed, or in the recliner, she loves being right on your hip and soaking up all the affection she can get.
She's also a fantastic traveler. Her first choice is the driver's lap, of course, but she's content riding shotgun or sprawled out in the back seat like the royalty she is.
Sophie is mostly house-broken-she's had a couple of poop accidents, but that may just be part of learning the new routine... or her opinion about the current weather. She plays well with other dogs, though her feelings about cats are still unknown. She's quiet overall and rarely barks unless someone arrives at the door.
One thing to know: Sophie loves to jump. Furniture, vehicles, beds-if it's jumpable, she's on it.

Additional adoption info
Adoption fees are based on the breed, health, age, and behavioral status of each dog. All dogs are microchipped, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, flea/worm treated and have had a wellness exam before becoming adoptable. If you are interested in adopting a BHNW dog, please fill out the online application. If you are matched to the dog you are interested in or another dog in our program, you will be contacted by the foster family. Prior to adopting, there is a mandatory home evaluation to ensure your home and family are ready for that dog. We require a contract for all adoptions and there is a two-week trial to ensure a good match. If for any reason you can no longer care for the dog you adopted from us, that dog must be returned to our program.
