This handsome guy is Louie! Although he can be a bit shy at first around strangers, he's got a friendly disposition and warms up quickly. Louie's fond of treats and stuffed toys, but he loves walks, car rides, and tummy rubs even more. He'd thrive best in a home where he's the only (spoiled) dog, and where any children are older. If you're looking for a loyal buddy to share your adventures--and your couch--you need to meet this lovable pooch!

Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.
