Mole is the sweetest, most affectionate little gentleman you’ll ever meet. This snuggly boy loves being involved in everything you do—whether he’s trailing behind you like a tiny shadow or settling in for an all-day cuddle session. Head scratches, pets, and gentle forehead kisses are his love language.

Mole has the kindest soul and shows his love with his whole heart. He’s wonderfully chatty, too—if something’s on his mind, he’ll happily tell you all about it with his adorable, expressive meows. When he’s not soaking up sunbeams or discovering exciting new hobbies like cricket-watching and exploring fresh grass, he’s curled up with his bonded sister Lulu, KRLA-A-85502, or nestled close to his human at night.

Mealtime is another highlight for Mole—especially when minnows are on the menu! Despite his small size, he fills every space with warmth, comfort, and sweetness. He and Lulu have been inseparable since the start and are ready to bring their love, purrs, and cozy cuddles to a forever home together.

We adopt animals to homes in the Los Angeles area and neighboring counties.

To help ensure that we place our cats in loving, responsible, committed homes, we have a screening process before you can adopt a pet from Kitten Rescue. We reserve the right to turn down potential adopters as we deem necessary. First, we ask that you complete our Adoption Questionnaire at kittenrescue.org/cat-adoption-form/. You can complete the form online or you may stop by a weekly adoption event to complete form in person. Second, a home visit or a home delivery of the cat or kitten is also required as part of our adoption process.

The Kitten Rescue adoption fee is $150 for a kitten or cat up to 10 years old, and $100 for each additional kitten or cat to the same household ($250 if you adopt a pair). Cats above 10 years old have a fee reduction of 50%, for an adoption fee of $75 each.

All of our cats have already been:
Spayed or neutered
Vaccinated – with at least one FVRCP vaccination
Treated for fleas
Dewormed
Tested for FeLV (Feline Leukemia) and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus)
Microchipped

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since our start in 1997, we have grown into one of the largest, most well-respected animal welfare groups in LA.

Kitten Rescue volunteers adopt out over 2,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. We educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, how to care for kittens and cats, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Kitten Rescue makes educational material available via events, print, school presentations and here on our website. We also provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance for communities in and around Los Angeles, and teach people how to manage and care for feral cat colonies.
