My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Agatha All-a LongLegs is one of seven pups dumped over the summer in a local dog park during a thunderstorm. A kind stranger loaded them all into his truck and brought them into our rescue program. Sweet Aggie is the last one without a forever family!

Aggie is up for anything, as long as she can be with her people. Her foster mom says she's one of the most trusting dogs she's ever known. All she wants in the world is to be held like a baby, lay in your lap, be at your feet, or get belly rubs! She looooooves fetch and is learning to "drop it" when she wants something thrown — her joy when that happens is palpable.

Aggie is so fast when she zooms around the yard and would probably ace an agility course. Just don't be surprised if she runs into a fence because she's still growing into her feet and can be kind of clumsy. (Same, girl, same.) She's so smart and curious, learns commands quickly, carefully sniffs every little thing in a new space, and even tracks planes as they fly overhead. And when playtime is over, she will settle in to watch TV with you — she loves a lazy couch day with Sunday football!

Aggie's ideal home would have a big back yard where she can zoom around and play fetch. She loves walks, too, and is working very hard on her leash manners. She hasn't met many kids, but we think she would do fine with older kids who don't mind that she sometimes jumps when she's happy and excited. Aggie also gets along great with dog friends who are her close to her own size. She's crate-trained and potty trained, and she sleeps in her crate in her foster's room at night. We're pretty sure she would love the opportunity to snuggle in bed with her humans, too.

Are you ready to open your home to the amazing Agatha? She's all ready to cheer on your favorite team this bowl-game season. You get the chips, and she'll keep the couch nice and toasty for you. <3
