My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Gabe! He's a shepherd mix, about 2 years old and 61 lbs. He passed his crate and kid testing and may be able to live with a cat with slow introduction and supervision. He also did well for his bath! Gabe got to go on a field trip, and this is what the handler had to say about their time together. “Gabe loads great into the bed of the truck and travels well. He sits quietly while being hooked up to unload. Gabe has no formal leash or obedience training. He enjoyed his park time running showing gentle play style and never jumps up on you, looks like he could be a good player with kids. He discovered the “come” command is followed with praise and petting which he is happy to receive. He needed quite a bit of redirection and small corrections to walk next to his handler's side but is a quick learner and showed great improvement in a small amount of time. He met an off-lead dog in the park and displayed good manners. He is interested in meeting all dogs and people and shows zero aggression towards anyone. Gabe is a very kind dog that will thrive with some consistency in obedience and leash training, he’s definitely got the love to give in return.”
Gabe already made it into a play yard. He didn’t appreciate Tonks’ in your face/jump on him play style. So a more submissive player would be best.
