Originally trained as a livestock dog, Riata made it clear she prefers the comforts of indoor living—soft beds, human companionship, and a peaceful routine are much more her style.
This sweet girl absolutely shines with people. She’s gentle, affectionate, and wonderful with kids, making her a fantastic companion for a family looking for a loyal, people-oriented dog. She loves attention, learns quickly, and bonds deeply with her humans.
Riata does have a few quirks: she finds cats way too exciting to resist chasing, and she can be uncomfortable around other dogs when she’s scared or nervous. Because of that, she’ll do best as the only pet in a calm, understanding home where she can feel safe and settled.
