My name is Lois!

We are all loving Lois, who arrived from the city pound on November 6th. She is an approximately 3 year old, beautiful, large mixed breed girl who is happy and affectionate. We've been playing some "guess the breeds" with her as she looks like there could be some Great Dane, maybe some boxer, English mastiff... Heck, who knows? She has been vet checked, spayed, and microchipped, and her fee is $150.

Lois is looking for a home that has large breed experience. She weighs about 90 pounds. She is strong and could use a little basic training. We do think she'd do okay with other dogs, but she does not do well with cats. Older kids would be best as she is very large and can be a little bit clumsy.

NOTE:  Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org.

We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.

We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.
