Meet Jensen!

This handsome and sweet lab has an estimated birthdate of 11/11/2021 and came to us from SCRAPS after undergoing a double Entropion surgery. He is healing up so nicely!

He is settling into his foster home and learning the ropes, but is very shy and fearful at first. He has good kennel manners and is fully potty trained.

Jensen does well around other dogs with slow intros but he is very reserved and may be prone to hiding initially. He is warming up nicely and we hope that some time out of the shelter and the scary cone he will blossom

Jensen's adoption fee is $200 and he comes neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and dewormed.

Adopters in the Spokane area can expect to meet the pet during the homecheck. Others will arrange a meet and greet.

Once your application has been received, we will evaluate it as a potential match for the given animal and, if your application is selected, we will proceed to call your references and then conclude with a home check and meet and greet scheduled by you at your home. For applicants out of area, the home check may be conducted via video call before the meet and greet.

More about this rescue

From the day we could talk we told our pets more than we ever told our parents. We took the long route to see the kitty in the window down the street. We stopped even when we were late to pet the dog. We grew up and we saw what the world does to those who can't defend themselves. We are here to change that.

Ethical rescue, including fully vetting every animal and carefully placing them all into homes matched to their physical and mental needs is what we do.

Respecting all life, both animal and human, while retaining an underlying goal of keeping animals in their homes. and fostering a sense of community between local shelters and rescues is how we do it.
