Yzma came to us from the Dogs Playing For Life Canine Center and has fully embraced life here. Much like her namesake, she has a big personality, a flair for drama in the best way, and a talent for making people laugh without even trying.
Yzma loves being with her people and prefers to stay close, keeping an eye on everything like she’s overseeing her own very important operation. One of her favorite activities is burying her toys outside, carefully choosing the perfect spot and acting as if it is all part of a very serious master plan. It is silly, goofy, and completely endearing.
She also enjoys spending time with her dog friends, balancing playtime with moments of observation that feel very on brand. Yzma brings humor, charm, and a little bit of chaos to every day, and honestly, we would not have it any other way.
If you’re looking for a dog with personality, comedic timing, and a love for her people, Yzma is ready to make you laugh. No potions required.

More about this rescue
Animal Farm Foundation gets to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
Located in Dutchess County NY, AFF has been working nationally to secure equal treatment and opportunity for “pit bull” dogs since 1985.
OUR ORGANIZATION
Animal Farm Foundation, Inc., a not-for-profit corporation, has been rescuing and re-homing animals, as well as making grants to other humane organizations, since the mid-1980's.
We currently dedicate our resources to securing equal treatment and opportunity for "pit bull" dogs. Whether the dog is called a "pit bull" because of a documented pedigree, or merely on the basis of physical appearance, recognizing that these dogs are individuals for whom we are responsible is an integral step toward a compassionate future for all dogs.
