Meet Apollo!

Apollo is a smart and goofy 18 month old Goldendoodle who loves to play fetch and hang out with his humans. He is potty trained when prompted and let out often. He is crate trained but doesn’t like to be in there too long or alone for a very long time. Apollo loves to play with other dogs but still has puppy energy so he is still learning the rules of play. He has been trained and knows sit, stays on place and enjoys his walks on a leash.

He’s about 35 lbs and still needs to gain more weight. He is very vocal so you will always know who is at your door or coming in a room. Ideally, he will need a fenced in yard because of his love of fetch and need to get extra puppy energy out. Apollo is very high energy and starts every morning ready to play and in such a good mood. He loves attention and chewing on his toys- he will even toss the ball to himself!

Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.

Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
