My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ellie is a sweet dwarf rabbit ready to find her new home! She enjoys bunny safe chew toys, and binkying around exploring. Ellie frequently enjoyed free roam time in her previous home and as an older bunny, it`s likely that she has excellent litter box skills that will help her be successful as a free roam bunny with you! Ellie has previously lived with other rabbits and may do well with a buddy, provided she is introduced slowly and thoughtfully! Visit this cute lady today to see if she is the right bunny for you!

More about this shelter

CONNECTING LIVES SINCE 1922

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.

Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.

Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.

Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.

Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.

Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
