Meet Gherkin, a 2-year-old Miniature Pinscher mix who weighs 14 pounds! Just like his pickle-inspired name, this little guy is full of personality. He’s energetic, fun, playful, and always ready to cuddle once he’s had his zoomies.

Gherkin seems to do well with dogs his size or smaller, but he’s not a fan of big dogs. He’s also quite the vocal boy, so he’ll need a home without shared walls. Apartments, townhomes, and other attached housing won’t be the right fit for him.

If you’re looking for a small companion with a big, lively personality, Gherkin is ready to add some zest to your life! His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
