Oreo is a 1-year-old black Lab mix with a sweet name and a personality full of energy and enthusiasm. Tall and lean with long legs that look like Slim Jims, he loves to bounce around and run fast, especially once he gets comfortable.
Oreo was originally surrendered when his family had to move and couldn't take him along. He was adopted but later returned due to his high energy, love for play, and a strong curiosity about cats. While still young and learning, Oreo thrives best in a home where someone is around to provide consistent guidance, plenty of playtime, and structure to help him grow into the great dog he's meant to be.
In playgroup, Oreo initially seemed a bit overwhelmed but quickly found his footing and enjoyed fun, friendly interactions with female playmates. He's looking for an active, stable family who can keep up with his zest for life and provide the patience and leadership he needs. Because of his strong prey drive, a home without cats would be best.
If you're interested in learning more about him, please reach out to our volunteer matchmakers at wcac.matchmaker@gmail.com with the subject line "Oreo 256342".
He is up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention, is microchipped, and already neutered. If you have dogs or cats, we recommend slow introductions over time. If you have children in your home, we recommend supervision between animals and children at all times.
