Doc Holiday had a hard road with some outlaw parents until he strolled onto my property at the beginning of October. He wasn’t too hungry but he needed a bath and a quiet place to rest his weary head. He was an instant hit with the two lady dogs of the house and he enjoyed chasing one another and even a little playful wrestling. He is smart and learns the rules quickly. He stays in the yard and knows to come when called, sit and stay.
Doc loves the outdoors and riding in the car and he is laid back and quiet. He loves to have his back scratched and baby talk but doesn’t require constant attention. We could tell he had some trust issues because of his abuse but he really wants to be a loved and for you to tell him he is a good boy.
His favorite time of the day is the morning after breakfast when he jumps on to the bed to bury his head in the covers and cuddle.
All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home.
We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application.
We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information.
We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
