Other important info about me: I'm a unique, beautiful girl! I'm probably a mix of lots of different breeds, but one thing's for sure: you won't find another one like me! I'm happy, silly, and love to go adventuring. I came to the shelter with my brother, Tidus, and we get along great, but if we need to be separated to find our forever homes that's ok too (though I will say, we make quite the adorable pair!). I'm still working on my manners a bit but I'm ready to learn, and I can't wait to be part of a family. I appear to get along well with people of all ages and other dogs (although I can be a bit too rambunctious with young kids), but I haven't been tested with cats at this time.

Their adoption process

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

We are open Tues-Fri 8 am-4 pm and Sat 10 am-2 pm. If no one is at the shelter during open hours, please call 281-576-2417 for assistance.

2.
Meet the Pet

We require all adopters to spend time with the pet they are interested in to make sure he/she is a good match!

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

All adopters must sign an adoption contract, which may require rabies vaccine and/or spay/neuter for your new pet, if not already completed.

4.
Pay Fee

Adoption fees vary from $10-$50, depending on the pet. We accept cash (exact change required), check, or card.

5.
Take the Pet Home

And that's it! You are now the proud owner of a new furry family member and will take your pet home right away.

Additional adoption info

-We do not require an application to adopt! However, adopters are required to meet with pets at the shelter to ensure they are a good fit. Our staff will always strive to make the best possible matches between pets and adopters!
-Seniors for Seniors: Adopters age 65+ can adopt any pet age 7+ for free!
-All adoptions are on a first come, first served basis. We do not hold pets for adoption or pickup at a later time.
-We do not transport or ship pets. All adoptions must take place in person at the shelter.
