My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sometimes the dog missing from your best life is a big fella with soulful eyes and the patience of a saint. We get it, and we’ve got him. Getty, who is rich in personality but has no art collection to speak of, is a very handsome chestnut pittie mix in white ballet flats. Well-mannered, amenable to everything and partial to hugs and scritches, he walks among the pint-sized citizenry of Muttville with good will and glad tidings. He very kindly stops for people offering love or those eager to get a closer look at his fabulous jowls – it’s all good as far as he’s concerned. He’s also a gentleman on walks, a regular indoor/outdoor purveyor of excellent vibes. If you seek a benevolent anchor for your hero’s journey, Getty is your guy.

Here's some notes from his foster:

What a SWEETIE!! First 24 hrs he slept a lot. Now he is rejuvenated and eager for his walks! He even verbalizes (a bark or 2), when he's ready to go. He walks great on a leash and very friendly towards humans. Dogs he can ignore, but if they stop, he's good with a few sniffs and then is ready to keep moving. He's got some pep in his step! He can do stairs, but can't jump up to my bed. But he can with low couches. 100% potty trained. Sleeps thru the night. Is SLOWLY learning the doggie door.

He's a very good boy!
