Meet Sadie!
Our sweet Sadie girl was so so scared and shut down when she first arrived to RMG! She was found living in a storm drain in a very rural part of Georgia. We have no idea what her previous life was like, but we know it wasn’t nice! After several months of patience and TLC from her foster mom, Sadie has learned to love and trust again - especially if you offer her a soft warm blanket to burrow in and a spot in bed next to you!
Sadie is a petite little Chi mix - less than 10 lbs and around 10 yrs old. She gets along nicely with other dogs and cats, but she’s decided she prefers calm and quiet in her Golden Years so she’d do just fine as an only dog. Her dream retirement home would be in a quiet household, maybe with someone recently retired who is looking for a new best friend. Someone she can snuggle up with at night and who will let her laze around and sun bathe during the day.
