My name is Marco!

Marco is the ultimate cuddle buddy and is ready to be your adventure partner! His favorite things are diving headfirst into your lap for belly rubs, looking out the window, a good squeaky toy, and like any herding breed, fetch. He could play all day long - inside, outside, with a stuffed animal or a ball, he doesn’t care, as long as you’re throwing. He adores people, and is ready to snuggle at all times. So far he’s been great crated while left alone, happy to nap until you’re back at home. Marco is still working on his excitement while passing other dogs when out on walks, and he's highly food motivated, so if you have a stash of treats with you, he’ll be very attentive. While he’s still a bit suspicious of his harness, he’s getting braver each day, and has mostly mastered sit. He’s currently working on stay and down, and getting used to brushing and bathing, as grooming is definitely a priority with a coat as unique as his. Right now, he has a bit of a funky haircut on his midsection from his previous life, but it should all grow back eventually! 

Marco’s high-energy disposition and adoring personality would be the perfect combination for someone who runs, has a yard to play fetch, or even works from home. He’s curious and loves to observe whatever you’re doing, and is eager to tag along from room to room. Marco is so ready to share all of his love with his forever family - just as long as they have plenty of treats!
