My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Pistachio!
Mixed Breed • 11 Weeks • 11 lbs of Pure Sweetness

Pistachio is the softest, sweetest, most playful little puppy package you could dream up! This girl is crushing crate training—she settles right in and sleeps through the night like a pro. Potty training is coming along nicely, but she’ll need consistency and frequent potty breaks to keep her on track.

She’s a champ at independent play and will happily entertain herself with a bone or toy… until she hears a loud noise, then she pops right into your lap for safety snuggles.

Pistachio loves the great outdoors—especially snow! She also enjoys cozy naps tucked under tables or curled up on the couch next to her foster dog siblings. She’s in her silly, nippy puppy stage and working on basic commands in her foster home.

This little nut is great with other dogs and amazing with kids—a perfect family pup ready to bring joy wherever she goes!

If you’re looking for a playful, snuggly sidekick, apply for Pistachio today! (127)

More about this rescue

Buddy’s Second Chance Rescue, Inc. is a 501c3 dog rescue organization and completely foster-based in the Western New York area. We pull dogs and puppies from high-kill rescues all over the country that are on lists to be euthanized. We place them in foster homes until they find their furever homes here in WNY. Every dog that is saved opens up room for another. So in essence two dogs lives are being saved!!
