Beautiful Dos and her sister Uno come to us all the way from southern Texas. Their story has a tragic beginning. They were rescued by a good samaritan in a parking lot, after what we assume was their mom or sister had been hit by a car and did not survive. Dos and her sister have not been up here for very long, and have already come such a long way from scared and shaky pups to happy and waggy pups who do the cutest tippy-tappy dances! Just watch her video to see for yourself!
These girls are super shy at our shelter when meeting new people, but with a little TLC and baby talk they come out of their shells. They are loving and mild mannered-- and who wants a wild and crazy pup anyways?!
Uno is the more confident of the two, and is always the big spoon to Dos's little spoon.
While the girls love each other, they are not bonded, and can be apart (we feed them separately since, as siblings do, they can squabble over food, affection, etc!). They can be adopted together, or separately.
Dos is docile, sweet, affectionate, and just needs someone who understands she may not run right up to you and start licking your face right away! When you meet her she is going probably not come right up to you, and you just have to know the bond will develop in no time and that she is still in shock from all the change (and who wouldn't be?). We know she will come out of her shell in no time. We hope you will take a chance on this sweet girl.
Dos’s adoption fee is $375. This animal is spayed, up to date on core vaccines, and Heartworm negative.
