Mae is a brindle chihuahua mix who has never gotten the memo that she's only eight pounds. Mae keeps herself entertained like a pro, turning leaves, sticks, and rocks into her own DIY toy collection. As the self-appointed household floor monitor, she's highly treat-motivated and always ready to clean up dropped food with lightning speed. This makes training effective—when she's not being stubborn about commands like sit, kennel, outside, and inside. Her small size means she needs supervision outdoors (hawks and owls don't care how brave she is), and she'll bark when strangers approach. Our foster dogs/pups are all in foster homes and can be met by appointment. We also will have regular adoption events at PetSmart and Pet Supply Plus stores.
