Hello, my name is Turkey! Don’t be fooled by my petite size—I’m full grown, and I’ve got a big personality packed into this small body. I can be a little shy when we first meet, but once I feel safe and comfortable, I love showing off my playful side.
I’ve been staying in a foster home with both cats and dogs, and I get along great with everyone. I’m already pretty good about going into my crate, and I’m learning to wait patiently even when the house isn’t completely quiet. I like kids too—and especially all the toys they leave around for me to discover!
I’m looking for a forever family who will spoil me with toys, help me learn which things aren’t chew toys, and give me lots of love. I adore playing, enjoy long walks (I’m very good on a leash, just saying), and would be thrilled to have a fur-sibling who matches my playful energy.
My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?
If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org.
Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, you’re welcome to walk in anytime between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Please note that we’re closed for adoptions on Sundays and Mondays
