Are you looking for an adorable ball of energy? Tilly is a 6 month old Italian Greyhound/Labrador mix who may be a bit nervous when she is first coming into her new environment but once she is warmed up she will surely become your best friend! Tilly loves to play with tennis balls, squeaker toys, and anything really she can throw around and catch.
Tilly will benefit greatly in her next home from positive reinforcement training, and getting on a schedule to get her all set with potty training. With her being such a young pup she will need lots of time and patience while she is becoming comfortable in her new surroundings and with her new humans.
Ready to Adopt?
You have two options:
#1- VISIT IN PERSON
Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You’ll be able to meet available dogs in the shelter.
(Dogs in foster care are not available for in-person visits.)
#2- ADOPT REMOTELY OR PLACE A 24-HOUR HOLD**
If you’re ready to adopt without meeting the dog first, or you’d like to place a non-refundable $25 hold to reserve a dog for 24 hours, just call or email us: (413) 781-4000 x 1 springfield@dakinhumane.org. We are often helping other clients when you call, but we return voicemails and emails within 24 hours.
**Holds are not available for puppies under six months, on Saturdays, or during adoption events.

All adult dog adoption fees include;
-spay/neuter
-rabies and kennel cough vaccinations
- heartworm test
-current parvo/distemper vaccines (may need additional boosters with your veterinarian)
-microchip implanted & registered to adopter
-treatment of fleas & ticks
-veterinary exam and health certificate at Dakin
-free vet exam within 30 days of adoption with participating veterinarians
Most pets have also received other medical care while with us. Your veterinarian may recommend additional health care for your pet.
